Burgess Hill Dentist Retires After 32 Years At The Same Practice
A dentist from Burgess Hill has retired after spending 32 years at the same dental practice.
Members of staff and patients at Burgess Hill Dental gave dentist, Dr Rachel Akaster, a warm send-off, after she decided to retire after three decades at the practice on Station Road.
Rachel was presented with a cake decorated with a large toothbrush and staff enjoyed a party to bid the popular dentist farewell.
Rachel said that she wished to thank all her colleagues and patients for their kind words and added that she has been completely overwhelmed by people’s thoughts and messages.
Rachel said that she will miss everyone very much and thanked them for being a great team; she added that it had been a pleasure and an honour to work at the Burgess Hill practice for 32 years, especially as she has had the chance to get to know many families in the area and treat different generations.
