Bupa Dental Care has expanded its portfolio after adding 13 new clinics across the UK and Ireland.

Having successfully added a series of new practices, Bupa Dental now runs 483 sites. The latest additions come after the chain acquired 23 practices in 2018.

The new clinics are located across the country, with practices in Wakefield, Gloucester, Abergavenny, Highworth, Dublin and Ulverston. In May, Bupa also took over a cluster of Total Dental Care practices, including the firm’s Implant Centres in Harley Street, London, Folkestone, Dover and Peterborough.

Mergers and acquisitions director for Bupa Dental Care, Ruth Chesmore, said that everybody at Bupa is excited to welcome the practices, their staff teams and their patients to the family and added that the recent acquisitions represent Bupa’s ambitions to grow across the UK.

Bupa is now one of the UK’s largest dental networks, and the company has revealed plans to continue its expansion programme in the years to come.
