Bupa has added nine new dental practices to its portfolio. The latest acquisitions mean that the chain has increased the number of Bupa clinics in the UK by 14 in 2018.

After taking over Oasis Dental Care in 2017 and acquiring new practices in 2018, Bupa now manages 470 dental practices in the UK and Ireland.

The most recent additions include four clinics in the North of England, which were previously owned by Morrison Shenfine Holdings plus MyDental, Ballsbridge, Dental Excellence in Leeds, Martin Dental Care in Glasgow, Dental Confidence in Southampton and Bangor’s Lodwig Villa Dental Practice.

General manager of Bupa Dental Care, Catherine Barton, said that the company is confident about the long-term success of its dental operations. The industry is growing steadily, and Bupa is keen to continue expanding its portfolio and investing in dental services across the UK.

Ms Barton added that practices joining the Bupa network will be able to benefit from additional support, access to marketing, HR and IT services and a larger, more expansive referral network.
