A dental company based in Bradford is set to move to a bigger site in Shipley, it has been revealed.

Ortho-Care UK will move to a new 3 million pound site in Shipley. The new 25,000 square foot building will accommodate the growing company, which has expanded from a two-man operation to a team of 40 staff.

Ortho-Care UK has grown rapidly and is now one of the UK’s largest orthodontic suppliers; the company provides a range of accessories, laboratory products, tooth braces and other orthodontic equipment to private and NHS hospitals across the UK.

The firm has built a strong reputation and is well-known for its range of own-brand products. The company was formed by Kelvin Scott and Richard Garford; the pair worked together at a different supplier and spotted the potential of forming a specialist orthodontic supply firm. The company now has a sales team and turnover is increasing every year; the company now has clients in the Middle East, Australia and Ireland.

Mr Garford said that he hopes to move the company next Christmas; work has started on the new site and staff are excited at the prospect of moving to a bigger site. Mr Garford said that the firm had outgrown the current premises and the new site would allow further expansion. The new office has been carefully chosen, as it has excellent transport links.
