Blackpool pair displaying bright smiles once again

A Blackpool couple have expressed their satisfaction and delight with a dental holiday to Hungary.

The pair told the Blackpool Gazette that the trip to Hungary has transformed their smiles and made them confident once again.

Michelle Erwin’s back teeth were broken and an 18-year-old dental bridge needed replacing, meaning she covered her mouth with her hand when she smiled.

Mark Garrett told the publication that a colleague referred to his molars as “the burned toast teeth” due to their poor condition.

However, Ms Erwin said she knew that cosmetic dentistry in the UK could take ages and there was a chance she would not continue with her treatment.

A one-week holiday to Hungary offered the pair the chance to visit a new country and also correct all their dental problems.

The treatment took place last October with a follow-up visit in January, costing a total of £12,000, Mr Garrett claimed.

Ms Erwin said: “The experience was a really good one, not only did we get brilliant care we also got to have a holiday somewhere we probably never would have gone.”

In October, around 60,000 Brits searched the internet for information on dental holidays, according to the British Dental Health Foundation.ADNFCR-1374-ID-18492525-ADNFCR
