A dentist from Birmingham has plenty to smile about after completing the acquisition of a dental practice in Handsworth.

Dr Nazim Dad has taken the reins at Heathfield Dental. The clinic currently provides treatment for around 5,000 patients and employs ten members of staff.

In addition to treating patients, the practice is also a training centre for newly graduated dentists and provides mentoring for those completing foundation training.

Dr Dad is excited to get started, and with post-graduate qualifications in dental education, he is committed to continuing educational support for new dentists.

Talking about the acquisition of the practice Dr Dad said that he had been looking to take over a surgery for some time, but hadn’t found the right practice. When Heathfield Dental became available, it was a “perfect fit.”

As a training practice, it appealed to Dr Dad, who is passionate about education and supporting newly qualified dentists. He has previously worked in a training practice for 13 years and is thrilled to be taking over a clinic that has an excellent reputation in this field.

Dr Dad was able to complete the transaction quickly thanks to the team at Lloyds Bank. Andy Matthews, relationship manager, said that there was a growing demand for dental services in the city and added that the Handsworth practice will be in safe hands under the ownership of an experienced, enthusiastic dentist in Dr Dad.
