Bedford dental practice to host free event as part of National Smile Month
The owner of a dental practice in Bedford has announced details of a free event, which will be held to celebrate National Smile Month.
Dr Minesh Patel, from Chrysalis Dental Practice, has invited local people to attend a free dental event on the 10th June as part of an effort to support National Smile Month. The campaign, which involves practices all over the country, will run from the 15th May until the 15th June. The aim of the campaign, which is run by the Oral Health Foundation, is to educate people about healthy oral habits, and encourage them to take steps to protect their teeth and gums.
Dr Patel and his team will be providing information about oral health and giving tips on choosing healthy foods, diet, teeth cleaning and using toothpaste. The team will also be handing out packs of toothbrushes and toothpaste, and they will be on hand to answer questions. Dr Patel is eager to make the day as fun as possible, and goodie bags will be available.
Dr Nigel Carter OBE, chief executive of the Oral Health Foundation, said that he was “delighted” that Chrysalis Dental was taking part and thanked Dr Patel for his support.
