There has been great improvement in the cosmetic dentistry industry, a new report has claimed.

According to Research and Markets, a marketing resource firm, as people take more care of their teeth, greater emphasis has been placed of technological advancement in the field.

Tooth-shaded resins have been developed that dentists can paint on and bond to teeth to repair chipped or damaged molars.

"Crowns and caps may now be reinforced with gold, covered by bonded tooth-shaded porcelain," the firm states.

Titanium implants can now be inserted into the bone so that artificial crowns, bridges or teeth are securely anchored, it added.
