A Quarter Of Men Want Their Partner To Undergo Dental Surgery

A survey has revealed that a quarter of men would like their partner to undergo cosmetic surgery, with dental surgery to improve the look of their smile coming third on the list.

The most popular treatment chosen by men for their partner was liposuction, followed by breast augmentation. Dental surgery came in 3rd place, with a nose job in 4th and Botox in 5th place.

The survey, which was conducted by VoucherCodesPro.co.uk, involved a total of 1248 British men. Of those surveyed, 24 per cent of men said that they would like their partner to have cosmetic surgery, with 57 per cent of those men saying that they would like their partner to have liposuction, 49% choosing breast augmentation and 42% choosing dental surgery. Nineteen per cent of men said that they were not sure and 19 per cent said that they would not like their partner to have cosmetic surgery.

Only 12 per cent of men said that they would actually tell their partner that they wanted them to have surgery to improve their looks; a large proportion of men said that they would not tell their partner because they did not think their appearance could be improved by surgery, while others said that they did not want to upset their partner and that they did not want to cause an argument.

A spokesman for the website said that it was clear that many men are perfectly happy with their partner’s appearance, but many would like the chance to see their partner with a different look; he added that, wisely, most men would avoid actually telling their partner that they wanted them to have surgery.
