500 Additional NHS Places Available at Thanet Practice
Dumpton Park Dental Centre in Thanet is inviting new patients to join the register as 500 additional NHS dental places have become available.
The practice, which is located in Hereson Road, has recently recruited 2 new dentists, paving the way for 500 more patients to join the list. The clinic is one of the few practices in the area to offer NHS treatment under conscious sedation. Sedation is a popular technique used to treat patients who suffer from anxiety and nerves when visiting the dentist.
Clare Henderson, practice manager, said that it was rare for the practice to have openings for new patients, but due to the addition of two new dentists, new places are available and there is capacity for around 500 patients. The practice is described by its manager as one of Thanet’s most well-established practices. It is one of the few clinics to offer NHS patients the choice to have conscious sedation and the team has expertise in providing treatment for nervous patients and those who suffer from dental phobia.
