Empress Veneer
Help please! After lots of internet reasearch regarding different types of Veneer i decided to visit a local cosmetic dentist for advise on what he would recommend. He said he uses Empress Veneers and the price seems quite cheap (£395 per tooth). Now reading other threads on this site it would appear that you can not get a good veneer which will not only look natural and will also last a decent length of time for that price so what would the wise dentists on this site recommend? I am getting quite confused.

£395 is very cheap for a veneer. Its difficult to say about its looks and longevity as that is up to the individual dentist and technician. My lab fees per veneer exceed what you have been quoted. I would ask to see examples of your dentists' work as it may be sufficient for what you are looking for
I hope this helps

Thank you Dr. Khaira for your comments. I have read quite a few of the items on the forum and I notice that you mention that you would never have a thin veneer (are they called lumineers?) in your mouth but you did not say why. If you cannot tell me why in the general forum then i would greatly appreciate a message explaining your reasons. Thank you in advance
