Question Should I be able to floss between my new veneers?

    Hi all,

I've just had two veneers on my front teeth after to replace old ones after breaking them years ago. I'm wondering if I should be able to floss between them? When I've previously had a veneer put on they've put a piece of plastic between the two so the glue doesn't stick them both together. This time they haven't, so my two front teeth have no gap between them, and there's excess glue at the top and side of the tooth, so I can't even get the floss in.

I'm guessing this is something that I should go to my dentist about, but I'm just wondering if I'm worrying about nothing. Thanks!

    Darren.

Yes you should be able to floss around your veneers, occasionally dentists will remove excess cement at a separate appointment. I suggest you make your dentist aware of this problem

    I hope this helps
