Veneer price / quality
Whats the difference in quality for paying for a more expensive veneer.
Whats the difference between a cheap veneer and a quality one.
What kind of price would you expect to pay for a quality veneer ?

With quality veneers you will be paying for the skill and expertise of the dentist and technician. Good veneers also take a lot of time and effort to make.
If you have cheap veneers placed it will be obvious something has been done. Quality work will look like and blend in with your natural teeth. Depending on complexity you will be looking at prices starting from around £700

Ask them to show you examples of their work. That's the only way you can be sure

There are many reasons for differences in prices but the main ones would be
1/Skill and training levels of the dentist to correctly diagnose and treatment plan the proposed work
2/Laboratory used. It is cheaper to use a lab that charge the dentist less but this will almost certainly be reflected in the quality of the final porcelain work, potentially in terms of fit but certainly in terms of the final aesthetics achieved
3/Time spent by dentist.
a/Veneers should be a conservative procedure and so it is essential that as little tooth as possible is removed. This actually takes longer to achieve than quickly just doing a standard preparation. The more the fee the more likely the dentist will not be rushing.
b/The final shape of the veneers should be worked out in a temporary and this may need reshaping until correct . Again the higher fee will cover the time to refine the shape if required until it is correct for the individual
c/Attention to detail in general in terms of fitting and bite adjustments
d/Aftercare
It is not really possible to say what price you should pay except certainly not below £500-600/ veneer and do not be surprised by fees up to £1000/veneer. Ask to see previous cases, talk with previous clients and ask what lab is being used and their experience
