    Default Altered in color!

Some dentists say veneers can be bleached or altered in color. Is this right? How long will home bleaching take to get my teeth brilliant white with dental bleach of 10% carbamide?

hello veneers CANNOT be whitened themselves however the tooth underneath your veneer can be lightened in colour by teeth whitening which may change the colour of how that tooth looks if the colour of your natural tooth is appearing through the veneer. But if your veneer is very opaque then teeth whitening will make no difference to that tooth

    I hope that makes sence?

The only way to change the colour of the veneer , would be to change the veneers.

I agree with admin, in some cases of thin veneers, or stained veneers then some degree of whitening is possible. But usually the veneers have to be remade as Dr Sepehrara has pointed out.
