whitening - dentist or home kit?
Hello,
I plan a whitening zoom but I still anxious because I don' t know if it is safe. I have to add that I ve almost finished the Inman aligner treatment.
I am also interested in crest whitening products, because of positive reviews and cheaper prices. But is it safe? what do you recommend me? Thanks

ok thanks for the reply but what do you think about crest; do you think that it could damage my teeth? because what you quote earlier is really expensive...

The best and safest method to whiten at home is to have home trays made by your dentist. The gel in Crest strips is inactivated extremely quickly by saliva and thus the results are extremely limited

Hi, I've used a few different home whitening kits. I bought a home kit from the dentists that was over £300. It worked but made my teeth very sensitive. I now buy a gel called White Again as it is a lot cheaper than going back to the dentist to buy replacement gel. It causes less sensitivity than what I got from the dentists too and is only £30. I have also used Crest Whitening strips... They are very easy to use and are the best one to use if you don't have a gumshield.
Hope this helps.

Definitely go to a dentist for whitening, although it's the more expensive option. After that you can care for your teeth, simply by brushing them with a recommended from your dentist toothpaste.
