Front Tooth WHite Filling and Whitening?
If I want to whiten my teeth.
Will having one of my front teeth filled with a white filling affect my ability to get a whitening job done?
Thanks

The filling material will not whiten and so ideally the whitening should
be done before the filling is placed; or accept that the filling will at
least need to be resurfaced if not replaced with a lighter colour when
the teeth have been whitened . However fillings per se are not a contra
indication to whitening as long as you realise they will not whitenDr David Bloom BDS

I had the same problem, then i used a product that is a teeth whitening pencil, i am not sure whether it affected the fillings but it probably did,as the colour was the same everwehere. The product is called White Smile http://www.britewhite-smile.com here's a link. Hope it solves your problem. Cheers

Dead tooth
I have a dead tooth, which is grey, it's been filled on the inside, the dentist cleaned it out and then gave me some peroxide to inject into a hole in the back of it. The question is, if I had my teeth laser whitened, would the dead one still look off white? - I don't know if this is linked to the bit about transparency not being treatable?

If you have had the nerve taken out of the tooth, you may need whitening followed by veneer work if the tooth does nto whiten completely. There is no reason why you cannot have whitening done, you should speak with your dentist about the best options for you
