lumineer preparation
Hi!
There are so many options for cosmetic dentistry that i am rather confused which one to go for. I have just seen a dentist for lumineers who during measurements seemed to have "prepared my teeth" which i understand means slightly abrading or roughing the surface up. Now im not sure if i want to go ahead with lumineers, for one thing the total cost is huge. So will my prepared teeth recover on their own or do i have no other option rather than go ahead with lumineers?
Thanks

Thanks alot for your reply Dr. Karen. The thing is I didnt know the dentist was going to prepare my teeth during measurements...i realized that when i went home & had a gritty feeling in my teeth so called & asked them about it. They graze my tongue now. So what could be the other solutions other than cementing them with lumineers?
Thanks
