Retainer
I am part way through my treatment and starting to think about whether to have a removable or fixed retainer. I am thinking the fixed may be better as I do not have to worry about remembering to put it in each night. Would appreciate any views on pros and cons. Thanks.

Hi
Fixed retainer - has the advantage that you dont have to keep on remembering to wear a removable retainer. Of course the patients oral hygiene has to be very good for this type of retainer.
Removable - have to remember to wear it as prescribed by the dentist. You can floss easily.
I personally give both , when i complete treatment.Dr Raha Sepehrara BSC(Hons) BDS with Distinction

i would go for fixed as i would eventually loose it and not get another or just forget to wear it but i guess flossing would be a pain!
