Question One tooth needs tweaking after inman aligner

    Hi There

I have had my aligner in now for 5mths and my teeth baring 1 are "nearly" all straight! but according to the brace my teeth are all aligned up to as far as they can go!! But when I look at my front second tooth on the left hand side it still looks like it needs to be pushed out a bit more and it isnt going to do this if the brace is aligned right up to this tooth stopping it from going any further out (does that make sense??)

Any suggestions would be great I wont be happy if it cant be pushed out anymore as I feel it isnt quiet straight enough..

    Hi,

Obviously I cannot comment directly about your case without seeing you but normally when your teeth are just about straight, your dentist can now use a simple finisher to achieve the final position using a clear aligner. This will "tweak" the teeth to correct any unfinished movements.
This can then also become your retainer if you prefer a removable option.

Speak to your dentist about this. The chances are they are planning on doing it soon.
