Inman V Invisalign?
Hi all,
I had a consultation with my dentist a few weeks ago about finally getting my crooked teeth sorted. I thought veneers would be my only option, but my dentist told me that invisalign would fix my teeth without the need for veneers.
I have a crooked 'fang' smile (not painting myself in the best light here I know!) and have always been completely self conscious of it. I decided to go ahead with the inviaslign after reading up on them and taking my dentists advice.
I am now in the process of awaiting a date to have the invisalign fitted, however I read only a few days ago about the inman aligner and am now wondering if this would be a quicker alternative to invisalign? What does inman do that invisalign can't and vice versa?
Any help on this matter would be much appreciated. x

Hi
the Inman aligner can mainly correct mild crowding of the front 4 teeth, ie central incisors and lateral incisors. For some examples of what can be achieved please have a look at the Inman aligner website.
Invisalign/Clearstep can correct mild/moderate crowding of more teeth, not just the front 4.
We get many patients coming in for consultations asking for the Inman aligner, but not everyone is an ideal candidate for the reason stated above.
I hope this helps
