Pain while eating after the Inman Aligner
I just got my Inman Aligner 3 days ago and it's still VERY painful while eating. My dentist warned me to eat soft foods in the beginning, but I'm wondering how long this will last. I'm hoping the pain does go away, but I am nervous that it never will. Thanks in advance for any input!

hello
dont worry it will go away. Normally its sore for about a week but can last two.
If it goes on longer than that, speak to your dentist but it is very rare for patients not to be able to cary on

Adjustment to the Inman Aligner may take a week to 10 days so it is normal to have a little pain while chewing or eating after being fitted with an Inman Aligner. Try some mild pain killers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen for a few days but it should get better soon. Let us know how you get in with your treatment.
