    Default Advice Please

Hi, please could someone help me with a query? I have had a couple of consultations regarding getting my teeth straightened and both dentists have said that I need a fixed brace (again!).

I have reluctantly resigned myself to having one but was a bit shocked by the cost! The cheapest metal version was about £3,500 going up to around £8,000 for lingual/ceramic braces.

Is there any cheaper alternative to this? I really want to get my teeth fixed but there is no way that I can afford this.

I would be grateful for any suggestions, many thanks.

    Dear Vicky,

You may wish to consider 6 month smiles. This is fixed braces but the brackets and wires are all tooth coloured. It could certainly be a viable alternative for you

    I hope this helps
