Smile New gaps appeared during orthodontic treatment

    Hi
i've been having orthodontic treatment for the last 9 months & should have around 3-6 months left to go. I had mild crowding at the front lower & upper teeth but wanted to have a smile i could be proud of. My teeth are getting there on the lower jaw but my upper teerth have gone a little too far and now a gap (2-3mm) has appeared between my two front teeth & another (1-2mm) gap next to my left vampire tooth (insicor?). Is this normal during treatment & will the gaps close back up?? im going to ask my dentist next time (end sept) but just wanted a quick answer before...

    Hi

gaps can appear during orthodontic treatment as the teeth straighten. The gaps are usually closed towards the later stages of the treatment.
I would still recommend you discuss your concerns with your dentist
