Timescales
Hi, I have been on NHS waiting list for over a year now in Edinburgh and was wondering if anyway of getting fixed braces done quicker e.g - going somewhere were people are still training to have it done so they can use you as a test client. I have tried privately but cant afford it, any suggestions?

Dear Kim,
You will probably find the same problems if you were going to go on a "student" waiting list. These tend to be very long. I can understand your frustrations and would recommend you speak to the orthodontist. I have known a few people to wait 3 years to be seen on the NHS only to be told they are not suitable for NHS treatment.
I hope you find what you are looking for

Thanks, when I queried privately I had been given a price of 4000 pounds, I had asked if I could have only my top set done therefore only 2000 I was told that it would not benefit me, does this sound right? is this price average?, thanks again
