Canine problems
Hello everybody,
I've not long joined this forum and was just hoping for some advice here.
I went to the hospital about 3 months ago to get my upper left canine taken out as it was a baby tooth (the adult tooth was stuck in the top of my gums, that had to come out as well). Everything went well and now i have a big ol' hole in my teeth, and a weird 'ditch' in my gum.
I then went back to my usual dentist to see if i could get a bridge or an implant but he said that because my top adult canine never came through, the bottom left canine 'super-erupted' (is that the right term? im not sure if thats what he said now :/) and now there is no space to put an implant / bridge so i'm left 'toothless in seattle' for want of a better phrase.
I don't particularily want a massive gap in my teeth as its quite off-putting and a bit of a blow to the old confidence. Any ideas?
Thank you for your time,
Ste

Hi Ste,
I am sure there is something which could be done. I would suggest you see another dentist for a consultation. I cant really advise you without seeing you.DR NILESH R. PARMAR BDS (Lond) MSc (UCL) MSc (GKT)
