dental crown
I had a crown put on one of my molars. When the temporary crown was on my tooth had some pain and the permanent crown wouldn't be ready for 2 weeks. When the permanent one came in my denist decided to put it on with temporary cement in case my tooth needed a root canal he could get it off and not have to do the work through the permanent crown. My tooth has been great for the past 2 weeks and when I went to have it taken off and put back on with permanent cement he couldn't get it off. He didn't want to damage the crown so decided to leave it alone for now. How long can I expect this to stay on with temporary cement?

How long is a piece of string. There is no way of telling, if your dentist thinks it will stay put, then best to trust his judgement.
If it comes off, then go see him and he'll use permanent cement.
