Hello, very nice to find a forum like this!
I have just had a full upper bridge removed due to deterioration/failure of the underlying teeth. When the bridge was first fitted the dentist said that it contained 'a significant amount' of platinised gold. The original dentist has now retired and when I asked his replacement if the removed bridge had any scrap value, the answer was 'no - most of the original cost represented labour'. I would be grateful for an expert second opinion on whether I should be due a refund for the scrap platinised gold?.
Thank you!
