    Default advice needed

    Hi,

im 32 now and my teeth are a right state and its time to get them sorted out. I still have 4 milk teeth and when i looked into veneers/implants before I explained to the dentist that the gaps are from having milk teeth removed when i was younger and my second teeth not come through. Looking at me in disbelief he did a few x-rays and referred me to a surgeon in bupa to see if my jaw bone was thick enough to have implants. At bupa they did a full head scan and discovered that I have 9 second teeth just under my gums which have not come through. The surgeon suggested I look into seeing if they can be pulled through instead of having them removed and having implants fitted, He referred me to cardiff uni and to date I have not heard a thing.

    thanks nathan

It would be best if you ask your referring dentist to investigate what is going on with the referral

It seems like you have had good advise and you need to contact Cardiff
uni or contact a private orthodontic practice to proceed unless you can
get this treated on the NHS which I doubt.

my sister is 61 and still has a few milk teeth! My 16 yr old son still had 3 up until 3 months ago, he had to have them removed as they were stopping his adult teeth growing thro.
