Advice on Amalgam Filling Removal
Hello, I was hoping for a little advice and hopefully it seems as though I have come to the right place.
I was wondering if you could give me any opinions on mercury poisoning and amalgam fillings? I am a 30 year old female who up until recently have had no health problems. In Nov 08 I had 3 amalgam fillings on the same day as a fear of dentists had made me avoid them for 10 years prior! In Jan 08 I began experience chest and other muscle pain. I have had all the hospital tests to rule out heart and lung problems and have been told to go away and deal with this. My symptoms since the fillings have been as such:
Chest pain (different area's of my chest each time, short and sharp)
RInging in my ears
Extreme dizzyness
Night Sweats
Loss of Memory
Tingling (especially in hands and feet)
Numbness of parts of my legs
'Brain Fog'
Is it a coincidence that the symptoms started just after the fillings or could there be more to it?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

All current evidence suggests that amalgam is a safe material to use. there are some people who develop an allergic type reaction, I would recommend that if you have concerns in this area that your dentist refers to to an appropriate dental specialist to have this investigated further
I hope this helps
