    Default Crowns or Bridge

I have my four lower front teeth crowned. After losing 2 of these crowns and the peg on one of them breaking I was initially advised to have the four teeth re-crowned (I understand that root canal treatment will need to be done on the tooth that has the broken peg). It has now been suggested that extracting these 4teeth and having a bridge may be a better option.
Due to the fact that I have recently come through treatment for osteoradionecrosis (following head and neck radiotherapy) I am very concerned about going down this route and feel that the crowns would be a better option.
Any thoughts would be very welcome.

    Hi,

In view of your medical history it is certainly better to avoid invasive
treatment such as extractions and/or implants. For that reason new
crowns may well be the best treatment at this stage.

avoid surgery if possible, its as simple as that. if you need surgery then it should be carried out in hospital in case they feel that you need hyperbaric oxygen

In view of your medical history I think it would be worth trying to save
your own teeth with crowns and root treatments and avoiding extractions
and bridgework. In view of the need to avoid extractions the root
treatment would have the highest chance of success if performed by a
specialist. If you were to have extractions I feel Implants may be a
better long-term solution but this is best avoided for the same medical
    reasons .
