Default New molar gold crown causing pain

Hi. I have just had a new gold crown fitted to my first top molar and it is giving me a problem when I bite on it. Whe I do so, it makes contact with the opposite tooth which has a filling and caues momentary pain, and of course, I cannot bite food on that side now. I am going back to my dentist (3rd time this week) again tomorrow. The crown seems to slide between the two opposite teeth. Will there be anything he can do please, because I'm fed up of eating mashed potato and porridge

    hi

it is very difficult to say what the cause is and what can be done without seeing the teeth and your bite.

if the crown feels high, ie you find your bite is heavier on that one tooth, it may just need smoothening of the high spot.

again, very diffucult to say without seeing the teeth.

    Best of Luck

Thanks. Have another query now. I have just had a small piece of tooth filling break off the front cuspid near to the gumline. Do I have to see my dentist immediately or can I leave it for a while. There is no sensitivity or pain.
