Tooth shaving
Hi all, I am deciding about whether to have clear step clear aligners. I have had a consultation and am told that I only have to have them for my top arch, however, I will need to have 0.4mm to 1 mm shaved off my top canine teeth. Can anyone advise as to what the problems are with shaving - this is putting me off slightly. I don't want to damage teeth that are healthy and have heard that tooth shaving can lead to problems later on?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

A minor amount of reduction like that will not cause any problems if done well!

Tooth shaving..
Many thanks for your reply - I have a consultation at the beginning of Feb before I make up my mind so will ask exactly how much has to be taken off then and check they are experienced in "shaving"
thanks again
