dentist details
Hi Elliot,
I've sent you a private message with my dentist details.
I'm very pleased with the results, I've had my brace off since christmas and I still look in the mirror and can't believe that these are my teeth and that they are straight.
Good luck
Carol

Hi,
I just took off 6mths braces and i have various issues and it looks like i might need to find an alternative method to align my jaw, correct my midline and reduce my overbite. am i correct to say the 6months braces should have corrected this

This is incorrect. 6 month smiles does not do these major corrections and this is only really achievable with full orthodontics

further Orthodontic treatment
Dr pav
Thank you for responding to my post.
This problems developed after i took off the braces
Does that mean i have to wear braces again or do you have any suggestions of any treatment eg Inman aligners that can help with this.
thank you

It sounds like you have concerns which are more than can be dealt with by six month smiles or the Inman aligner. You may need to go back in braces but without a full consultation I can't offer much more advice. I would recommend that you return to your dentist and express your concerns

further Orthodontic treatment
Dr Pav,
Thank you I have tried and am not getting good response which is why i am seeking the advice of another ortothondist.
He is referring me to a Jaw specialist though, i am really worried bout this. I am 35yrs old and really making a consious effort to hold my jaw together and the older i get the harder it will be to control.
The jaw movement is that common with 6months braces.
Thank you
Rume

I was expected to have my six month smile for 8 month and treatment has only took 3 ( get it off next week )
I was treated by Simon at Kissdental in Manchester. It cost me 2200 and included consulatation, xrays, moulds and retainers

Hi Judy
I'm also interested in the 6 month smile and I'm shopping around so to speak. I will much rather visit a dentist that one of you recommend at a fee that is reasonable. Could you forward me the details of your dentist please? ThanksLast edited by halm; 02-21-2011 at 09:57 PM. Reason: Wrong name
