more off than on
my partner has just spent a large some of money on cosmetic dentistry. He has neglected his teeth over many years. The dentist recommended veneers and also she told him he had bone erosion and would need to have his teeth wired together. He seems to have to keep going back because the veneers come off and the wiring breaks, i have not heard of the wiring thing before, its not as if he eats things that had hard so if a peanut or just a piece of meat seems to dislodge this wiring i can't see he has been well advised, also the veneers come off easily, i dont understand that either, i have had three porcelain veneers for twenty years they have never come off!

Hi Mary,
There are many reasons that veneers may come off. This is much more likely to happen with cheaper types of veneers. With regard to the wire support, this is occasionally used but without a full consultation it is very difficult to assess the situation. I would talk to your dentist about your concerns.
I hope this helps

Mary, is that per veneer or for everything? If that is for everything may I ask how many veneers were placed?
