Simon Smyth is a General Dental Council registered dentist and has provided training for over 350 dentists at the Dental Training Institute in Chetsey. In addition to this training, Simon runs dentistry courses, a role he has performed on and off since receiving his qualifications from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne Dental School in the late 1980s.

Simon’s previous dental experiences also include time in a general dentistry clinic in Cheltenham and running a private dental practice in Hampshire. When he is not teaching and running practices, Simon attends courses in countries around the world, including Germany and the United States. The broad knowledge received on these courses enables Simon to stay ahead of the curve and apprised of the latest dental technologies, techniques and treatments.

Simon currently runs a modern dental facility with his wife of 25 years, Jane, in Bishop’s Waltham. Together, they offer the highest standards of dentistry in a comfy and relaxed environment.

Simon is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He also serves as secretary of the British Society of Computerised Dentistry. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, golfing, playing squash and various other activities. He and his wife Jane have three young sons and live in Horton Heath.
