Biography for Mark Gillis
Mark graduated in 1999 from the University of Bristol. From here he trained at the Royal Hospital in Bath as a senior house officer on oral and maxillofacial surgery for three years. Through this training he honed his skills in surgery, for example using intravenous sedation on nervous patients and practicing wisdom tooth removal. During these three years, Mark achieved Membership at the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has also attended a three year course in implant dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute.
A member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry, Mark has been able to provide sedation for nervous patients since 1999.
