After qualifying from Birmingham Dental School in 1979, Andrew has gained extensive oral surgery experience at hospitals in the West Midlands and University College Hospital, London.

He continued his education and obtained a specialist degree in Conservative Dentistry. Later he underwent extensive higher training in Restorative Dentistry at Guy’s Hospital and is a registered specialist in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics with the General Dental Council.  He is also a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage, Hertfordshire and a fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Andrew is member of the British Dental Association, is on the council of the British Society for Restorative Dentistry and is a member of The Association of Consultants and Specialists in Restorative Dentistry, The Association of Dental Implantology, The British Society for the Study of Prosthetic Dentistry, and the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Andrew also marks papers for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for the Royal College of Surgeons of England in their Membership in Restorative Dentistry exam and The Diploma in Implant Dentistry examination. Both these examinations lead to professional credentials and acknowledgment.

Andrew has over 20 years of experience with dental implants and has treated many, many patients over his long career. His particular interests lie in cosmetic dentistry, the extensive reconstructions of broken teeth, using implants, with crowns, bridges or dentures and in general recreating natural smiles and restoring patients’ confidence.
