Restylane Wrinkle Treatment

Restylane treatment is the instant solution for your facial lines and wrinkles. Some people are comfortable with the lines and the wrinkles that appear on as they age, but many of us are not. Due to the large range of fillers that are available, wrinkles can be considered as a thing of the past. The treatment for wrinkles is safe, effective, and will not require much recovery time. You may have to go through wrinkle treatment every year in order to maintain your appearance.

How does the Restylane treatment work?

Restylane treatment can be given to all skin types. After a meeting and consultation with your doctor, the most suitable treatment will be advised for you. The Restylane treatment will take about 15 to 30 minutes. It will involve injection of the hyaluronic acid into the dermis layer using a very tiny needle. This needle will penetrate a few millimetres beneath the surface of your skin. This process is not painful, although some doctors will use anaesthesia to reduce the discomfort.

There will be small red marks and swelling for the first few hours after the treatment. Small amounts of Restylane filler will be injected into the skin using a needle. The hyaluronic acid molecules will draw in water naturally so that the tissues underneath the lines and the wrinkles swell. This will fill out the wrinkles and make your skin look smoother. The Restylane treatments are recommended for patients every six to twelve months in order to maintain the youthful look.

What are some of the complications that can arise from Restylane treatment?

There are hundreds of thousands of clinical treatments and Restylane has not shown any serious complications. You have to note that with any injectable fillers, there will be potential for redness, itching, swelling and minor discomfort. These side effects will eventually go away after a few days. Restylane does not utilize hyaluronic acid from animal tissue and will not result in complicated animal allergies. When Restylane is injected, it will be fast, safe and scarless.

Pain relief is not needed by all patients, although anaesthesia can be arranged upon your request. Before the procedure, topical anaesthetic creams or local anaesthetic injections may be given to you in order to reduce any pain or discomfort.
