Would I be able to get tooth removed and a false tooth replacement with my maternity exemption certificate?

Q. Hi, I Joined a nhs dentist not long before the birth of my son 3 months ago, I was on a waiting list for a very long time and had a problem with one of my teeth and had to seek emergency treatment, I was given a temp filling which was supposed to be filled in properly but before i managed to get into a dentist the tooth broke so now i have a gap with the root still in my mouth, It isn’t painful but the gap is really knocking my confidence as its on show when i smile, I have a maternity excemption certificate and was wondering if i was be able to get the root removed and a false tooth at no cost? If not how much around would the treatment cost?,
A. You should be able to get a false tooth but it will probably be a denture on the NHS

Hi. I am 36 weeks pregnant and last week my filling came out. I had a temporary one fitted which fell out a couple of days ago. I have had another temporary one done as my dentist said I can’t have a proper one done till after the baby is born. He has also said that the tooth actually looks like it’s decaying quite badly but can’t tell for sure without an xray which he also said I cant have until after the baby…. Since the current filling I have been in alot of pain, is there anything the dentist can actually do or will I have to wait until baby is born?
Also will it cost me for a proper filling or tooth removal?

I have started to get crooked teeth as my wisdom teeth are still coming through. I’m 32, and I’ve looked into it before but it was too expensive. Can I have my teeth straightened with my maternity exemption certificate? If so would I be able to have invisible alignment procedures? Are there certain straightening procedures that I could not have done? do all dentists offer the smile alignment in 6 months?

Unfortunately Orthodontics isn’t available for adults on the NHS
