Would dental implants work after having a substantial amount of bone loss due to periodontal disease?

Q. Hi, I have been told I have periodontal disease and I will be starting my treatment for that shortly. I have been told that my bone loss is around 30-40% and I do have a few ‘wobbly’ teeth that my dentist said I will most likely lose. I would like to know that if teeth are lost, would dental implants work on me due to the amount of bone lost? Thanks,
A. I would really ask this question to your dentist who is treating you, as he or she would have seen your xrays.
