Would a bridge be best for replacing my old crowns?

Q.
i want my top front 2 crowns replacing and possibly the ones at either side. would a bridge be best or would replacement crowns.i had my crowns put in 18 years ago and have never liked them. ive always smiled with my lips closed. one of my adjacent teeth is loose due to gum disease.
i,d also like to have them whitened, but theres too many procedures to choose from and i don,t know which will get the best results

The best piece of advice I can give you is to first of all visit with an excellent cosmetic dentist to discuss your needs/desires for your teeth. If crowns are already in place, then new highly aesthetic crowns may be the answer. Bridges are normally only used to replace missing teeth. The loose tooth is a concern. Your gum disease should be ideally fully resolved and healed before embarking on any cosmetic/aesthetic treatments. Your dentist can advise you if you need to see a specialist periodontist (gum disease expert) – your dental health should come first.

I hope this helps

Best wishes
