Would a brace work in my case?

Q. I would like advise on the best type of treatment. One of my two front teeth has a filling as I broke it in half when I was young. The filling is ok if looked after and cleaned regularly but the two teeth are not exactly the same length. My dentist advised not to “mess with it” as he says it is cracked right up into the root. The tooth next to it is an underbite and in photos often looks like a gap. I would love to be able to have this pushed forward but I am concerned about potentially knocking or damaging the already damaged front tooth. I am also concerned about taking a healthy tooth and having it filed down to a have a crown put on as I have friends who constantly have problems with crowns falling off. I would also like to be able to have a “good smile” throughout treatment. Would a brace work or do I need something more evasive?,
A. A brace is possible but I cannot say without examing the mouth. If you would like to book a consultation, please contact reception on 01509 23 11 33
