Will I be able to feel anything when under sedation?

Q. Hi Sorry to be a pain but I am very unasure about going to the dentist but I am booked in for the 4th of March to be given some treatment. I have been told that I will be in safe hands but I still worry. If I am going to get SEDATION will i be able to feel anything when the dentist is pulling my tooth out and replacing my fillings?,
A. The Sedation will induce a dream like state, which will allow the dentist to complete the necessary treatment for you. However it would be normal for the dentist to still administer local anaesthetic to numb the areas where you are having treatment. I hope this will make things a little clearer for you, and wish you well with your treatment. Kindest Regards. Dr Kailesh Solanki
