Will braces damage implant that is already in place?

Q. I had an implant on an eye tooth a year ago. now the tooth beside it has moved out and feels awful. my dentist is talking about a brace. im worried this may effect the implant. im also worried this tooth is going to get worse and stick out more and more??? why would this happen? is my dentist to blame? it only started when they put the implant in. im still waiting for the final tooth to be put on. please can you advise me, im very worried. thanks,
A. I don’t know whats happened but it sounds like a separate issue to the implant, teeth only move when bone loss occurs or if extra forces are being exerted onto the tooth. I would go with your dentists recommendations or seek a 2nd opinion if you’re still worried
