Q. Hi Dr Moore, My dentist said I am clenching my teeth because I am having pain in the left side of my face ,I also have neck & shoulder pain. He suggested NIght guard which is expensive, so I bought dentek night guard I wore it for 3 days It was kind of unconfortable.Now I am feeling that my jaws are not align Not sure if its bcause of the store bought night gurad.Also I see that I am chewing my chicks from inside. So I am planning to go to the dentist to get custom made gurad ..So I just have couple of questions. Once I get the custom night guard will it take care of all the facial Pain? will my jaws go back to normal(align)? does night guard help in stopping clenching habit? Thank you,
