Why are my teeth eroding and what can I do?

Q.
Hello,
I’m afraid the enamel on my front two teeth is eroding. I had braces for two years, and during this time, my teeth did not have that “clear” appearance on the bottom. Once I got my braces off, I noticed that my front two teeth were becoming clear. Since then, I have not been drinking soda and other acidic beverages. However, one of my front teeth has been chipping. Just tiny chips, but it still concerns me. Are my teeth chipping because of weak enamel? I do not eat very hard/crunchy foods, and I do not grind my teeth. I am only 15, and I take very good care of my teeth (I brush/floss twice a day, use mouthwash, etc). I do not want to get composite put onto my front two teeth because it must be replaced every few years and enamel must be removed in order for the composite to stick. I do not want to get veneers/crowns either, because they require shaving down the tooth. What should I do in order to improve the appearance of my “clear” front teeth, and perhaps strengthen the enamel?
Thanks!
A.

Hello, sorry to hear about your problem.

The enamel can’t be changed with out invasive treatment, however composite bonding if required is the least invasive and shouldn’t be damaging to the teeth hope this helps
