Which Treatment Would Be Best To Correct An Open Bite. Braces Or Dental Implants?

Q.
Hello Mark. I have an open bite or fish bite type of teeth. My lower jaw teeth and the upper set has a significant gap when I close my jaws together.
The two front teeth are excessively displaced outward.
Either I should take those front two out teeth and implant artificial teeth in the alignment of the other front teeth or use fixed braces to solve my problem.
Either way I need to take two of my teeth out, and I guess implanting artificial will be quicker than having fixed braces for a long period. Which would you suggest?
A.
Hello and thank you for your enquiry. Braces may be the most conservative and best option for you long term but some other options may also work. I’d advise you to seek out a face to face examination and consultation with an expert cosmetic dentist or restorative dental specialist first. If you’d like further information on either treatment, you can find it through this website. A little research will help you when it comes to your consultation. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Mark.
