What’s the best method for closing a large gap between two front teeth?

Q.
Hiya Dr Moore I was wondering if you could help me with a problem? Here it is: my teeth are fairly straight but I have quite a big gap between my two front teeth which is making me very self conscious and I am wondering what procedure would be best to close this gap up I have been meaning to look into this for a while now and don’t have any ideas of what you could do, if you could let me know what would be best to do it would be great as i don’t know how to go about getting treated etc. I’m looking for something that can be done quickly as it’s really getting me down now and I’m fed of horrid remarks. Thank you very much for your time.

Hello and thanks for your question. It depends on the size of the gap really. The bigger the gap the harder it is to close. If the gap is 1-2 mm then you could use resin or veneers to close the space, anything bigger will need closing with a brace. I hope this helps, good luck.
