What qualifications are needed to become a dentist?

Q. HI, it would be brilliant if you would answer this question. I am currently studying my GCSE’s and have wanted to persue a career in dentistry for a very long time. I am determined to get there but I am confused about what A levels are needed to do this. I understand that A level chemistry and Biology is a must, but I have recently Chosen my Alevels and i’d Like to know whether a maths a level is really necessary? I have not chosen this as my alevel because I didn’t think I could achieve an a or b in it. At gcse I manage to get a C-B and Will try hard to get a B in my following exams. So I have chosen Chemistry, Biology English(language and litreture) and phycology for my A levels. is this suitable for a cource in dentistry. I am hoping to get 8A*’s a few A’s and one b in maths, so what do you think! Please get back as soon as possible because I am tryingmy best to become a sucsesful dentist!,
A. hi you need to check what the accepatance protocol is for each of the universities ,some will accept english or law etc.your school careers guidance should have a book which tells them what each university requires
