What kind of treatments can I have to address my receding gums and gaps?

Q. I am 39 and 6 years ago I was told I had gum disease & 1mm of horizontal bone loss. since then I have followed a strict oral hygiene regime and thankfully my problem is very much under control. The problem is I have been left with receding gums and I am absolutely at my wits end! I have no confidence & certainly don’t feel like smiling. I thought of veneers to maybe close up the gaps? but having read your web page, has there been recent success with the graft? Please help,
A. You need to see a specialist Periodontist he specialises in gum grafts for receeding teeth, there are a few different treatment options but this is best discussed with the specialist once you have had a consultaton.
